Dr Robert Mendelsohn has been a practicing pediatrician for nearly 30 years and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Chicago in 1951. He has been the national director of Project Head Start's Medical Consultation Service, chairman of the Medical Licensing Committee for the state of Illinois, and associate professor of Preventative Medicine and Community Health in the School of Medicine of the University of Illinois.
